The Alliance—A Strong Partnership

The Alliance for Children and Families in Louisiana is a statewide membership organization whose mission is to strengthen the partnership of organizations dedicated to children, youth and families through leadership, education, advocacy and resource development.

On behalf of its members, the Alliance is engaged in the statewide promotion of Family Services, Public Policy and Advocacy, Government Relations, Membership Development, and Resource Development.

The Alliance represents "One Vision, One Voice" that supports agencies serving children, youth and families—creating stronger communities.

The Alliance was founded in September 2009, and is headquartered in Baton Rouge. The founding member agencies of the Alliance are:

• Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge

• Family Service of Greater New Orleans

• The Family Tree (Lafayette)

• The Wellspring Alliance for Families (North Louisiana)

• Family & Youth (Lake Charles)
